The Essence of Liberalism

The Essence of Liberalism

The essence of Liberalism is that the individual is supreme and if something is good for the individual and bad for society, then society loses. The problem is that everyone is a member of society, Liberalism in effect says “everyone loses" .

Liberalism believes that the individual can create their own society, therefore they can reject conventional society. That is the road to loneliness and the atomisation of our Civilization, it’s breaking apart, it’s balkanisation.

The constant need to build a society that the individual can be part of, the constant agitation that would be our life, never resting. How can that be the victory of the individual?
