The Myth of Skilled Migration

Too often I see people online praise Australia's Skilled Migration Program and from a distance I can understand why they do so, but up close it looks very different. Here I am going to show why it's a lie.

The Australian Governments Migration target for 2016-17 is 190,000, just as it has been for the past four years. That means that within a decade Australia will have 2,000,000 Immigrants, thats quite a lot in a population of 24,000,000. We are being swamped and our Parliament wants it that way. But one of the ways it has managed to keep the idea that we need more immigrates is the Skilled Migration Program.

The program works like this, foreign people who wish to live in Australia must have a skilled that is required in Australia. So your an Iranian Dentist and you want to live in Australia then you can apply to move to Australia because you have a skill that is required in Australia, Dentistry. Of course what they don't tell this Iranian Dentist (an actual man I once meet) is that he must be qualified in Australia. Of course his degree was from Iran so now he must spend years and lots of money to become qualified in Australia. It would have been better for everyone if he had been told this while he was still in Iran.

But the list of skills change, they need Dentists, then Welders and then another skill. What it is, is a wishlist consisting of short term needs, but once they are here it is up to them whether they stay or not, not up to us.

Meanwhile in Australia we have hundreds of thousands of unemployed, currently around 600,000. We have another 1,300,000 students at Australian Universities, 300,000 of which are International students. Now if we add the unemployed to the number of Australian students that means there needs to be 1,600,000 jobs created within 4 years, in the last quarter Australia created 7,900 jobs!

Assuming that all of those International students go home, but a major reason many come to study at an Australian University is so that they can claim Permanent Residence and live here permanently. Many of these International students become Taxi-Drivers and Security Guards. Jobs that are quite capable of being done by unemployed Australians, but when you have been studying for 13 years and you've been told constantly that you shouldn't settle for just any job who wants to do those jobs?

So we have a situation where the taxpayer pays to over-educate students so that they feel that ordinary jobs are beneath them so then foreigners are brought in to push wages down and to keep our unemployment high. Working class jobs are then further eroded by being sent overseas or by forced diversity. In recent years temporary workers have been brought to replace Australians and we are told they will be paid Australian wages. We know that isn't true and even if it was it wouldn't be good enough.

Further up the job market the more educated you are the more you must compete with the skilled migrate. Why should an Australian have to compete for an Australian job with a migrate, any migrate?

Australia imports Doctors, why does Australia import Doctors?

Shouldn't a rich country like Australia be exporting Doctors?

We train Australians to be Doctors at great public expense and then import Doctors from overseas. How much sense does this make?

When people think of skilled migration they think of very high tech jobs that are very scare in Australia, but that is simply not true. We have plenty of Doctors and Nurses and if we had a shortage we could train more, we have everything that is require to do. We don't need foreign Welders, Plumbers or Labours, we have plenty and if we need more we can have everything we require to make more.

There is simply no requirement for immigration when we have a large training and education sector AND mass unemployment. Our loyalty should be to our own people not to foreigners.

We are the Jews Now

Today on Facebook I saw a post from someone I have known for decades. Earlier this week an Australian celebrity was involved in a debate on live TV regarding Muslim immigration and didn't give the "correct" answer. The Facebook post showed three arms with tattoo's on them, the tattoos were put there by the Nazi's. The caption read something like "this is what happens when we separate people who aren't Christians". To say I was unhappy was an understatement.

It shows how little people think about what is happening in the world today, it is not Muslims or Blacks or Homosexuals or ironically even Jews who are the new Jews, it is White people. Christian or Atheist, it doesn't matter, we are the ones who are suffering genocide. A very Liberal genocide but no less destructive.

Mass Immigration into White countries means there will be less White people.

Multiculturalism means that Whites are expected, often by law, to give up jobs, schools, jobs and traditions so that non-Whites can fit in. It is White people who must give up things not other people.

Diversity means less White men.

If these policies succeed then that will mean there will be no White countries. Ohhh there will still be Black countries and Asian countries and Pacific Island countries but no White one. We will have been destroyed and what will happen then when we are the minority in every formerly White country? Universal peace and harmony?

The Nazi's were a hard tyranny, they had concentration camps and they killed people. However Liberalism is a soft tyranny. Whats the difference? In a hard tyranny they shoot you, in a soft tyranny they drive you to shot yourself.

Anti discrimination laws, Feminism, Diversity, Multiculturalism, Free Trade all designed to destroy our culture, our way of life and replace it with something else and ultimately FOR someone else.

As I have said before I can see my country vanishing right before my eyes. It's not fantasy and I know other people see it. I cannot go outside my house without seeing a foreigner, without seeing the people my own Government prefers over it's own, over me.

We are no longer living in a time where our Governments care about us, where they are on our side against everyone else. We live in a time where the U.S. President tell us that Black Lives Matter, but when people say all lives matter they are told they are Racists. We live in a time where the President of France tells his people after yet another in a seemingly endless lineup of terrorist atrocities that people will have to get used to it. We live in a time where the Australian Government thinks the best thing to do during an election campaign is to drive a wedge between men and women by demonize men and boys

So many people cannot grasp the idea that if this is to stop, if Whites are not to be destroyed, and we are being destroyed. then something has to be done to stop it. The only problem I have with banning Muslims is it still lets in far too many people. I don't want a ban on Muslim immigration I want a ban on all Immigration. But to be honest I'll take what I can get  until I get what I really want  Remigration-policy-idea.

But the truth is that I do not see things going well, I see people thinking they can rearrange the deckchairs on the Titanic. That little changes will be enough. The time for easy answers and everything will be alright is well and truly over. It's not Blacks, Muslims, or Jews that are too blame for this, we are in this situation because White's are to blame because it is treason that is our enemy. It is treason that has given us everything that is destroying us.

And don't you dare complain or you'll be a Racist, Bigot, Sexist, Homophobic, Islamophobe.....well in that case the entire world is divided into Racists and Traitors, pick a side, I know I have.

What Form of Government Should Conservative's Support?

When I was growing up it seems unpatriotic not to support Democracy, it was not only the system of Government but during the Cold War it defined us in opposition to Communism. My opposition to Communism has not ended but my support for Democracy is weakening all the time.

Democracy, can come in two forms, Direct or Representative. The Greeks practised Direct Democracy, every freeman could not simply vote he was also a part of the Assembly. He could debate, agree, critise and vote. And if he voted for war he got to fight in that war. In a City State that was possible. When Democracy was revived 2000 years later it was as a Representative system. Instead of all men being able to make decisions, now only Representatives voted. Now that system works as long as there is both genuine representation and if there are genuine differences between the representatives.

What has increasing happened in the West is that the political parties, all the major and most of the minor are Liberal. There is no genuine representation and no genuine differences between them. They all are Liberals, Feminists, Free-Traders and Multiculturalists.

It is a mockery, it's a mockery of the ideals of Democracy and it's a mockery of us!

A political system that is a mockery of itself cannot survive, because it is losing the one thing that all political systems require, legitimacy.

Maybe it is not too late to save Democracy, but unless something very radical is done it cannot survive in it's current format. It can only get worse.

I have heard from many Conservatives that Democracy was always illegitimate as it usurped the authority of Kings and the Church. I hate to say this because it is as unpalatable for me to say as it may be for you to hear, but the reason we are not ruled by Kings is because the rule of Kings failed. The reign of Kings lasted for a long time and was successful, but it failed. The reign of Democracy has also lasted for a long time but it is also failing. Maybe every system of Government has it's time in the sun and then fades away, some last centuries, some for decades and some for a very short period of time. To be honest I'm not sure if that is realism or cynicism.

Another things that Conservatives like is a House of Lords, a Conservative force made up of Ancient families with vested interests in keeping change slow. But a proper House of Lords needs those Ancient families and the truth is that most countries simply do not possess them. Even those countries that do cannot escape the fact that they can be subverted and in fact have been.

So if Kings cannot rule and Democracy is failing, and Communism is out what am I proposing?

I, like all true Conservatives want the Kings to return. I live in a Constitutional Monarchy and I would like the Monarch to have more power, particularly more power to say no. I would like those countries that once had Kings to put them back on their thrones.

As for Parliament, I still want to keep Parliament, both Houses, but I want the Lower House to be representative but not elected. How could this be achieved?

By Balloting, each Electorate would in effect conscript a man to represent them in Parliament. Only men who are married with children would be able to seat in Parliament. He would be paid his wage at the time of being Balloted plus 10%, and indexed to inflation. His pension would also be based upon his income during his tenure. And his term of office would be for 12 years.

The 12 year term is important, as it means that they have time to get used to their position, they can learn how the bureaucracy works and they have an end date beyond which they could not stay.

Some will argue that we would get some real idiots and fruitcakes in Parliament, to which I have two comments, firstly if you think the current lot of Parliamentarians are the cream of the crop then you really need to pay more attention. Secondly if a Parliamentary system is to survive it needs real representation and genuine differences.

In practical terms most men would be fine, some would not be and there would need to be a way of determining that. But it would need to be based upon real antisocial and/or criminal activities and/or mental instability.

They would also require more support within their electorate and Parliamentary office then are currently allowed.

Now I know this is quite a radical idea, but at the same time I believe workable. I would like to hear any thoughts you may have on this proposal.

The Fortieth Month

I'm two days late with my monthly post and I can tell you this month has not been going to plan at all. The plan was that I would finish my job, have a break, catch up on outstanding projects and go on a holiday. Instead the day I got my final payment I was back at work covering someone who has gone into hospital. That's right, they fired me and then rehired me within a week!

As you can see I have not been very active around here at all, which has annoyed me. We have around 10 people going to the Melbourne Traditionalists in August, so if your in Melbourne and your interested please get in touch.

This month has been quite high and low, on the 14th June I had 256 visitors and on the 21st June I had a low of 21. It's been a long time since I have only had 21 visitors in a day. Although it still amazes me that in a month I can get visitors from over 50 countries!

Melbourne Traditionalists in August

For the first time this year I am calling the Knights of the Melbourne Traditionalists together. Well we aren't really Knights, which I think we all regret but we will be meeting early next month.

I will of course be there as will Mark Richardson of Oz Conservative,

It is a chance for all those who are interested in Traditional Conservatism and who will be in Melbourne to get together. Here you will meet people of a like mind, who love the same heroes and hate the same villains. Who are interested in the same things you are and who are unhappy with how things are going and what to change them.

Don't sit at home, come out have a meal and a drink, talk and meet some interesting people. Because we are always looking for new Knights who are brave and true, just like you!

I am planing the meeting for Monday, the 1st August.

If you are interested sent me an email at uponhopeblog(AT)gmail.com

How the World Economy is Failing - My Personal Experience

On Thursday at 1am, I finished my last shift at the company I worked for and I am now officially unemployed. I'm in pretty good spirits as I did the job to a high standard, I saved as much as I could and I'm glad I don't have do anymore 12 hour shifts, ohhh and this weekend I get off, my first for the year. But I have been exposed to a few different views of just how bad the world economy is.

A few weeks ago the owner of the company came in and we had a chat for about 10 minutes. He told me that he had no choice but to send our jobs overseas as everyone else (meaning the other companies in the industry) had done it and he couldn't compete. Now a call centre operation was started in Indonesia late last year and it took the workload off us at a time when we desperately needed it. But of course the sirens call of cheap labour can only be held off for so long I guess. Having worked with the call centre for over 6 months I can say some of them are very good and others are really not. When I say really not, I mean they technically speak English but in reality they cannot understand anything more complex then very simple instructions. Most native English speakers have had this conversation with someone who technically speaks English, "Yes, yes, yes, Sir I understand". Which you come to realise really means I have no idea what you are talking about, but I don't want to upset you and I desperately want to end this conversation.

What was also interesting was how the Security Guards, 90% Indians and Muslims, I spoke to hated talking to the "Chinese people" as they called them. They could not understand each others accents, they couldn't provide instructions or information and they showed very little initiative. So why am I unemployed and they aren't?

Well in that conversation with the owner of the company he told me two things I didn't know. He told me that it cost about 1/5th to pay them than I was paid and in Indonesia that was a decent wage. He also told me that they could hire white people to work at the call centre, in Asia!

He said to me "I don't know how they do it, I guess the cost of living is so low they can live like Kings". So now we are in a situation where white collar office jobs are being exported to Asia so that whites can go there and work for good money by Asian standards but with no hope of being able to live a life of any standard back in their own country!

Later that Thursday I went to the bank, I took some money out and just before I left the Bank Teller asked me if there was anything else I required. I said yes I want to know what this payment is in my account. I handed my bankbook back to the Teller and he involuntarily snickered as he read the amount, I did the same when I saw it. He replied "It's your interest", I received 45 cents Interest on an account they charge me $7 a month in fees. It's absurd, I then asked what the Interest rate was and he said "I can find out for you", I said "Yes please". A few moments later he asked me if I would like to go behind the counter and read for myself the Interest rate, it was obvious that he was too embarrassed to say it out loud. I went behind the counter and there on the computer screen was the Interest rate, 0.01%!

So now I am in the bizarre situation where I am paying the bank to look after my money. I admit I do not have a Banking Degree or even a Bankster Degree, but it does strike me as being the opposite of what Banking is all about. You know where you put money in the bank and the Bank lends it out and you get Interest in return. But in Australia (and I'm sure many other Western countries), you cannot get a wage or any Government benefit without a Bank account, so my first instinct which is to close my account means I have find another Bank to put it in. Will the new Crook be better or worse than the old Crook?

This is the second time the Global Financial Crisis has got me, the first time I lost my job back in 2009, now it is destroying my savings because to keep financing the massive debt around the world, Interest rates have been pushed lower and lower. What next, just how many rabbits are in the hat? How far away are we from a Depression? And what happens then? This is not going to end well at all.
