Some Link Love II

Some Link Love II

I haven't had any link love since November...my bad! So here are some of my favourite sites with a double hitter for each.

Oz Conservative, always good, here are his two most recent posts on the damage to the White Working Class and an appeal to Australian readers to write a submission to repeal 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act.

The Thinking Housewife is also one of the top Conservative sites, here are two recent ones on the canonization of recent Popes and her opinion is right there in the title. Also an unusual but spot on observation on Americas Founding Fathers.

The Sydney Traditionalists have been very generous to me in their support and I thought I would return some by pointing out they have a radio program which plays on Monday night Australian Eastern Standard Time 8-10pm and part of that program has a segment on Conservative music, which is put up afterwards as an article on their website. Heres one on Gwen Stefani and the song "A simple kind of life".

Reclaiming Beauty is a little different to the rest as she is looking at beauty and it's place in modern life. But rest assured it is from a Conservative viewpoint. Here are two recents posts that show the width and depth of ideas on display here.

Adventures in Keeping House, here is another site that has given me support and I'm very happy to return the favour. These articles are on women and their place in modern society, well written and very Conservative in outlook.

Conspiracy, when even dead children aren't enough

Conspiracy, when even dead children aren't enough

Last night was a meeting of the Eltham Traditionalist meeting and all went well until late in the evening when one regular member decided to announce that the Sandy Hook school shooting was a false flag operation. For those who don't know, a false flag operation is when Group A does something and Group B gets the blame because Group A planned it that way. In other words Adam Lanza either didn't carry out the massacre or he did carry out the massacre but someone else was behind it. At first I tried to ignore it, but he wanted my opinion so I gave it too him. Now he and everyone still there at the time knows of my contempt of those who believe in conspiracy theories and I don't see why the internet shouldn't know either.

A conspiracy is a plan formulated in secret by two or more people to carry out some kind of action. A conspiracy theory is the idea that a conspiracy has taken place.

When a conspiracy is investigated evidence will point to the existence of a conspiracy, but a conspiracy theory doesn't have evidence and sadly it doesn't need evidence. It is the idea that a conspiracy exists that is important not the actual conspiracy. Actual evidence of a conspiracy might get in the way of the idea, how is this different to how Leftist operate?

Conspiracy versus Conspiracy Theory

After I got home last night I went looking for the "evidence" and found this Top Ten Reasons Sandy Hook was an Elaborate Hoax my dictionary defines a hoax as "a mischievous trick or something intended to deceive". Lets have a look at some of their Top 10 list:

1. Proof of death has been suppressed

They complain that no photos of the dead were released and that proves a conspiracy, to my mind all it proves is that the authorities had the common decency not to allow the media to show photographs of dead children. The proof of death isn't a photograph it's a corpse. 27 dead bodies apparently aren't proof, nor 27 funerals, nor more than 20 grieving families.

4. There was foreknowledge of the event

This was a major theme last night, that a memorial site was put up before the event. Here is what this site says about that claim "a tribute was apparently uploaded one month before the event, and web pages honoring the victims, including a Facebook page R.I.P. Victoria Soto, were established before they had “officially” died.". But when you look at it that isn't evidence, that is a claim. There is no evidence of this website existing at all. I also know that just because you put something on the internet does not mean that the internet agrees with your clock. When I started this blog it was on Bloggers server, in the United States where as I live in Australia. So an article would have a time more than 12 hours wrong. Now it is in Australian hours.

6. Adam Lanza cannot have done the shooting

Apparently Adam Lanza was a puny boy who couldn't possibly have carried all of the weapons and ammunition he carried. To prove it they provide a photo, of a teenaged Adam Lanza, not a photo of the 20 year old Adam Lanza, a man, who actually carried out the shooting. It is also claimed he couldn't be as accurate or proficient with the weapons. But he was proficient, he had been handling weapons since he was a boy, he killed his victims in classrooms not on a firing range so he was very close to them when he fired. You don't need to be that proficient in a confined space.

8. Photos at scene and of victims look staged or fake

The photo shown with the children in a line doesn't look fake, in fact the girl in the middle looks terrified. That not all photographs were up to date should not be a surprise to anyone, it's amazing that anyone could think that it would be.

9. The crime scene was completely destroyed

After the police have done their investigation why exactly would you still need the building? Once a crime scene has had the bodies removed and the area is cleaned, then it is no longer useful. All of the evidence has either been recovered or destroyed. Once that is done there is no need to keep the building, it's no longer a crime scene.

10. Deceased children sang at the Super Bowl

Are these people that stupid or do they believe that we are that stupid? It defies believe that a conspiracy would pretend to murder children and then have them appear at the Super Bowl!!!!!!

The best they can come up with is not all procedures were followed and some people acted strangely on what for nearly all of them will be the most traumatic event in their entire life.

The "evidence" is pathetic!

The problem with conspiracy theorists is that they believe our world is magical and that only they can see it, how clever they are, the Harry Potters in a world full of Muggles. But I've got late breaking news for you, Harry Potter is made up and for that matter so are Muggles. They claim they are searching for the truth but they hate the truth because the truth is most things are not conspiracies they are mistakes, incompetence, miscommunications but not conspiracies. So the only thing they can uncover is what they want to find not what exists, that is only boring facts. The real irony is that they are not the answer to uncovering real conspiracies, they are the very false flags that they think they are revealing. But what they and their theories do is hide the real conspiracies. They are not the solution they are the problem.

Should People Be Disposable?

Should People Be Disposable?

I am sure that you have heard that we live in a disposable society. The phrase is meant to be about how materialistic we are and how things are built to be disposable and that is true. We do live in a materialistic society and nearly everyone from the past would say we personally are materialistic. But what I want to talk about is how much or how little do we value each other. In other words are people disposable?

Items are disposable, most people dispose of items when they stop working, some people as soon as they are bored with it. Many items are designed to be disposable, safety razors, toiletries, food. Nearly all items are disposed of when they are no longer needed or break, even expensive items such as a fridge, car, even houses can and are disposed of. Sometimes we keep things because they are attractive or as memento's but sadly once we are gone there is no guarantee that others will value these items as we do. But we accept, sometimes reluctantly that items are simply objects and in themselves they have no value, only the value we attach to them.

People are of course not objects or items, they are living and breathing but they are much more than that, they are also intelligent. Capable of understanding very complex topics, capable of dreaming and then creating that dream. People have transformed the world, with buildings, farming, vehicles and ideas. Not all of our dreams have been worthwhile, many have turned into nightmares. But no other creature is capable of this either. Only we can create and destroy in such a manner.

When we read or hear about great horrors in the world, the Holocaust, Stalins Gulags, an atrocity, a terrorist attack, a murder, we are revolted. When we read or hear a natural or man made disaster we are saddened. A part of us doesn't want to know these things happen, we imagine ourself or our loved ones in such horror and we think to ourself "Only by the grace of God". Why should we feel anything for people we have never met and probably never would have? Why do we feel for people who were long dead before we were born?

Because we know that Human life is precious, that it has value. That not only our life but even the life of people we can never know is precious. That it is precious because we are not immortal, that even the longest life will end. A century of life is a long time, unless you measure time in ice ages, but when it ends it is a unique life that is gone from this Earth forever. That is in most cases a sad thought, of course most people will not live that long but they will still die surrounded by loved ones. When people die in great stress and discomfort, particularly when it is far from home and loved ones it is normally much worse than a natural death. No matter how painful or young that death is.

But our society does not treat people as precious, it says that it does, it talks about Human Rights, it talks about how free you are. It's claims fall short however when you start to look at how precious your life is. Unemployment, abortion, divorce, Fatherlessness, the lack of severity in criminal punishments are all symptoms that show how disposable people are.

If you don't like your spouse being around anymore just dispose of them, I mean just divorce them, actually not much difference is there really. You don't need a good reason, any reason will do. Once upon a time marriage was for life, divorce was very rare, today it isn't. Today it is easier to get a divorce than it is to end any other legal contract. I know when you get married that you swear a vow, if your religious you swear before God, that your union is for life. But the Lawyers in Parliament don't care about that, all they care about is your vote not your life. Your life is a toy to them, if some people want the freedom to be single and no longer married thats a freedom they will grant. The consequences are for someone else to fix for someone else to clean up. The idea that they serve all of society is absurd to them, they serve whoever needs to be bribed, the vote is all that matter.

Unemployed? Think you have a safe job and that unemployment is not an option for you? I've sadly met many people who thought that, that they were too important to be let go by their company. But hardly anyone is that important. If they need or want to cut numbers then your job can be finished just like that. Disposed of, but don't worry you won't starve, you'll get unemployment if you haven't saved anything. You might not be able to pay your mortgage, but houses are disposable, you'll be told. Don't worry they will tell you, there are plenty of jobs out there. Which you'll think is true until you start applying and find out how many others are doing the exact same thing. Until you fail to get an interview, and the weeks and then the months go by. You'll feel just how disposable you really are by now. Married? Not if this continues you won't be, nothing says divorce faster than unemployment. For better or worse are just words now that no fault divorce exists. Of course then you'll start to hear about how lazy you are, how there are jobs for the asking, only you never seem to find them or know anyone else who does either. You'll be isolated and broke but so are hundreds of thousands of others just like you. All part of the disposable society.

Abortion and Fatherlessness are part of the same problem, that the future of our people and our nation is disposable. Babies and Fathers are both disposable to the modern family, surplus to requirement. That these things have consequences is absurd to these people. Whatever is good for today is best, the future doesn't exist. Afterall we always live in the present, so technically they are correct, not actually correct but then I'm one of those silly Conservatives who think that the future and that consequences are real things.

I hope you are not the victim of a crime, after all if you are you might expect that once caught the person who committed the crime against you should get serious punishment. Thats a shame because it's much more realistic to expect that they will not get a serious punishment. Sometimes we are all surprised, but how often have you scoffed at a prison sentence when you heard it? I know I have. A murderer can get less than 20 years but of course their victim got a death sentence, everyone who knew them got a life sentence, but they will get out in time to get on with life. How compassionate, how merciful, ohhh you think compassion and mercy should be shown to the victim and their loved ones? How old fashioned of you! What an old stick in the mud you are. Don't you know that if we are all equal then the difference between the guilty and the innocent is nothing at all. One life has already been lost how can you end a second life? The idea that to show mercy and compassion to the guilty shows contempt for the victim and their loved ones is absurd to these people. They encourage crime and then deny it, but you and I are not blind we can see the truth. We know that the victims of crime are disposable, their only purpose is to create jobs for the police and the courts.

We will all die but that does not mean we are disposable. Our life is precious but Liberalism doesn't care about your life or about mine, it only cares about itself. If you happen to be on the wrong side of that, then you are disposable.

When "Universal" Ideals Aren't

When "Universal" Ideals Aren't

Liberalism believes in Universals ideas, the idea that there are political beliefs that all people believe in. It shouldn't come as too great a shock but those beliefs tend to be ones that Liberalism hold as truths. Ideas such as Human Rights, Democracies do not fight wars against each other, all people yearn for freedom and Feminism, among others. "These truths are self evident" as one of the earliest and greatest of Liberal documents states, the United States Declaration of Independence. But they are not self evident.

If you tune into the news or read a newspaper as I made the mistake of doing today, you will find any number of these mantras being used. They just seem to roll off the tongue and I often wonder if they even know what the idea means. But what is obvious is that they believe that all right thinking people know that what they have just stated is true. You would think that they would have a deep understanding of history or of people, but so often both their knowledge and their thinking is shallow. Maybe I shouldn't be so surprised that they think the man of 100 years ago was an idiot, most of them believe that about other men today. You know every man who doesn't think as they do. How can it be that so much education produces so little insight?

But back to Universal ideas, it is a very comforting thought to think that everyone secretly agrees with you. That only oppression or under education stops them from being on your side. That all you must do to unlock this limitless support is to free them or to provide education and they will come running to support you. You see this idea in play when they support Foreign Aid and unlimited Education. you see it in Free Trade and even in war aims. Practicality is absent and idealism reigns supreme.

Lets use Human Rights as an example. People and Governments can be extremely cruel, no one disputes that. Liberalism believes in a Universal standard, one that all people in all times are judged by. Remember it's a Universal standard so it's application is unlimited. The people of the past are just as guilty of violating the Universal standard as we are, even if they had no concept of it's existence. One aspect of Universal Human Rights is that while it first started to come into being in the 1700's, it is constantly changing. What was acceptable in one decade is regarded as a horrible crime in the next.

But how can something that most of history didn't know existed and something that is constantly denied and disputed be regarded by anyone as Universal? It is of course nonsense because it applies what are at best good intentions and instead regards them as policy. But today these good intentions are law, even International law. Hence why Liberalism is so keen on International courts. But regularly these Universal Human Rights are ignored, because rightly or wrongly these are not Universal at all and we all know it.

The idea that one Universal law can exist is wrong because it pretends that all people are the same at all times and in all circumstances. Not only are individual people different from each other but different cultures and beliefs also exist, making the idea of a Universal law quite bizarre. Universal Human Rights is regarded not as a minimum standard but as an absolute standard, it has no rival. That there should be minimum standards is one thing but to stay that an absolute standard exists is open to abuse. And abused it is, killing someone and slapping them are both a violation of their Human Rights, even though one is much more serious than the other. This is where the idea of Hate crimes come from, that killing someone of your own race or religion is less offensive than killing someone who is of a different race or religion. I most strongly disagree, the crime is murder not hate but that is part of the abuse.

One Universal belief you will see constantly pushed is Feminism, it is regarded as one of those truths that are self evident. Therefore it is often used as a tool of Liberalism in the Third World. Many Aid programs both Government and privately funded will use their Aid as a way of introducing Feminism into an innocent community. For example programs that teach women skills that make them compete against men therefore creating conflict between men and women. A classic case of the Battle between the Sexes. If you support a charity that does Foreign Aid please inquire about their womens programs, you might be pleasantly surprised, you might be very shocked, so make sure you support a charity that supports your beliefs and not Liberalisms.

Universal ideas are appealing, they give final answers as to how the world should behave, about how the people of the world should behave. But they are invented ideas, not Universal, they progressed from one idea to the next, they did not spring fully formed into being and these "Universal" ideas will continue to change. They will not stay static but they will continue to insist on more and more from us, like the rest of Liberalism.

The Thirteenth Month

The Thirteenth Month

Until the last 24 hours I was going to keep the 5 Continents that I had last month, but alas that all fell away. Now I'm back to 4 Continents.

I have had two links this month both of which I'm grateful for one from:

Adventures in Housekeeping

&

Oz Conservative

I also wrote an article in December called Free-Trade Versus Protectionism, which has really taken off. I get hits every day for it and most searches are looking for it. I also wonder if it's been linked to somewhere, if so I don't know where. But it's interesting that an old article can suddenly spring to life.

An interesting month on the roller coaster that is blogging. My best day was the 30th of March when I had 104 visitors and my worst day was the 22nd of March when I had 22. But I only had two days in the 20's and 4 others in the 30's, so my average was much better than normal around 52 a day.

France has rejoined after missing two months.

The Netherlands is basically the same and India and Sweden are both in the top 10 for the first time, welcome!

China is down in numbers and Japan, Poland and Brazil have left the top 10. Although Brazil was in it 24 hours ago.

I have also been visited by people from the following countries Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Finland, Austria, Switzerland, Malta, Spain, Poland, Greece, Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Iraq, Iran, Cyprus, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Namibia, New Zealand, Fiji, Trinidad and Tobago, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, British Virgin Islands, Guyana, Brazil, Argentina.

Over Educated

Over Educated

How many University's would you expect to exist in Australia?

The answer is 40 University's exist in Australia and there are a further 74 Institutes of Further Education. That is 114 places you can study after you leave Secondary Education. In a country with a population of 23 million. There are 800,000 Domestic students and 230,000 Onshore International students meaning that out of every 100 people in Australia, 4 are post Secondary students. And that 4% gets changed every 3 or so years, so the amount of people with degrees continues to rise. Currently around 1/4 of Australians have a degree and the last Government wanted that to go to 40%, it is unclear what the new Government wants.

3/4 of all Secondary students finish year 12, the last year of Secondary education. For decades we have heard the mantra that we need Immigration as there are jobs Australians won't do. Of course the more education a person has done the less they feel they should do menial or boring jobs.

That would all be great if it wasn't for unemployment and underemployment. The truth is that there has been a mania to get people into more training, more education. The education industry is very keen to let everyone know how important education is. Well education is important but it's not universally important. There are many jobs that do not need a University education. Of course the education industry is not happy with that, they believe that education is it's own reward.

Instead of University's and schools being rewarded for success and punished for failing they are rewarded for getting more students. Economically it is unsustainable as it will constantly be a case of rewarding more and more, there is no limit to more and more. There is a total disconnect between what we need from education and what we are being provided with. I am not talking about only providing vocational education but about all types of education. Everyone should have an education, it is the amount of education that differs. Not everyone needs more education and if they do they can go back to study but the current system pushes students to continue into further education whether they need it or not.

Universities and other Institutions of Further Education as well as Secondary schools should be helping students to get jobs. Those jobs should be in the field in which they studied, so people who study Engineering should become Engineers and so on and so forth. Of course not everyone will want to work in the field they studied or health problems or even death prevent others. But they are exceptions and in most cases study is done so that that a person can work in a particular field.

In Australia Universities are mostly funded by the Government via the Taxpayer. So I propose that when a graduate gets a full time job in their field their place be funded 200%. When a graduate gets a full time job not in their field or a part time job in their field their place should be funded 100%. When a graduate gets a part time job outside of their field then their place is funded 50% and when a graduate is unemployed then their place should not be funded. This should also be spaced out over a decade with 1/4 of the payments made at 1 year, 3 years, 5 years and finally 10 years after graduation.

Graduates should have careers and not simply jobs and this would reward those Institutions that did the right thing and provided the right courses. Those Institutions that provided junk courses would be punished, as they should be. Education is not it's own reward, it has an important function to perform. But the tail should not be wagging the dog and it seems to me that that is how the system currently works.

Why We Should Not Support Immigration, Part II

Why We Should Not Support Immigration, Part II
(Part I is Why do people support immigration part I )

Here I want to talk about why Immigration is a bad thing, most people are so used to Immigration that while they may dislike certain aspects of it they regard it as something like the weather. You cannot change the weather you just have live with it. But Immigration is not the weather it is a Government policy. It is not some force of nature we have not power over, even in theory. Our Government, and if you live in the Western world than I mean your Government, actively supports Immigration. The Government, the media and Academia are not neutral on this issue and we should never take their point of view as a neutral point of view.

So what possible reason could anyone oppose Immigration, I have chosen 7.

There is no such thing as Infinity Jobs
Population replacement
Destruction of the Nation
Inter-racial/ethnic/religious violence
Importing other peoples problems
Immigration is a way of hiding our social problems
The Government is our servant not our Master

There is no such thing as Infinity Jobs
To have a decent life there must exist jobs, the unemployed simply exist they do not live decent lives. Yet the Government seems to believe a number of bizarre ideas when it comes to jobs. They believe that Immigration creates jobs, that the unemployed do not have jobs because they do not really want jobs and that those in jobs are quite safe from immigrants. But not a single one of those ideas is true. If Immigration creates jobs shouldn't there exist a formula that states how many immigrants are needed to eliminate unemployment? But to my knowledge no such formula exists and if it does it certainly hasn't been used as unemployment is a chronic problem in nearly every Western country. The idea that those in jobs have nothing to fear is also not true as changing an areas demographics will often change the types of jobs done in that area. It seems it's too bad if your business is displaced because your own Government got rid of your customers. There is only a finite amount of businesses or jobs, there is no such thing as infinity jobs.

Population replacement
If an island has 100 Orange people, what happens when Purple people immigrate? Well the Orange people often end up moving away as the different ways of the Purple people are just too different for the Orange people to accept. Now in modern Western culture that is often called racism. The Orange people are expected at all times to be accommodating, they are not allowed to complain or in any way to express discomfort or any form of negative emotion at all. They must simply accept the new immigrants. But slowly, in most cases, sometimes very fast, the population begins to change. The amount of Orange people declines and the amount of Purple people increases. There will come a point where the Orange people who once dominated the land will be a minority. This is called population replacement, some call it Genocide, but I will leave that up to you.

Destruction of the Nation
It is not just the population of the nation that changes but also it's culture and it's institutions. How long will Christmas and Easter remain holidays once the population is either not Christian nor culturally Christian? Liberals say how stupid of course it will continue, but the truth is they do not care whether it continues. How long will it's food, books, music and history continue if the people change race, ethnicity or religion? How long can it's legal traditions and political culture continue when the culture that created them is no longer valued? How can a nation survive when the things that gave it a distinct life are gone? I do not believe that it can.

Inter-racial/ethnic/religious violence
Inter-communal violence is very common in the third world, but not very common in the first world. But of course when two or more peoples are put in close contact and they disagree then violence is possible. Liberalism denies that reality and insists that contact creates sympathy, but contact can create contempt. The differences are just too different to accept and that can lead to violence. The past is full of such inter-communal violence, the present has it's share as well and so will the future. Liberals believe that ideology can overcome reality, Conservatives do not agree and in this most people agree with Conservatives. Violence is not automatic but to put people into a giant mixer and then shake is a great test of ideology over reality.

Importing other peoples problems
Immigrants do not come alone, they come with their baggage. They bring with them cultural ideas, religious ideas and political ideas and not all of them are compatible with their new country. They come from wars that we are not fighting, sometimes they leave for wars we are not fighting and they bring that back. In recent times we have had countries fighting in wars and their immigrant citizens have fought against their own country. Legally it is their country but how can that be true when they want to fight and kill it's soldiers? Health problems that do exist in one country are now brought to it by immigrants from another. Importing other people problems is not a good idea.

Immigration is a way of hiding our social problems
No fault divorce, single parenthood, childlessness, non of these problems are the fault of immigrants. They were done by Westerners to Westerners and they have been disastrous. But to show people they are not Immigration can hide many of the problems that these issues create. Too many people getting divorced? Immigrants tend to come from more traditionally minded societies and they divorce less often. The same with children, if Westerners aren't having children then immigrants can, which leads to even greater population replacement. Here Immigrants can hide, with knowing it, just how bad our society is functioning. Everything looks better than it is.

The Government is our servant not our Master
Our Government thinks that when it says jump our job is to ask how high. But we live in a Democracy and that means that we are the Masters. Unfortunately our numbers work against us as we have different ideas about things and that means they can use divide and rule to control us. But when our Government does something we believe is against our interest we should not just accept it. Immigration is not in the interest of any peoples. It is a direct attack on us the people, our past and our future. The Government has a duty to protect us and that includes from population replacement, our Government is not doing it's duty.

No Western country needs any more Immigration, we have enough people, we have enough diversity, we have had enough. Immigration should stop and we need to let our Government know that that is how we feel. It is up to us to do something about this problem, because it will not go away by itself.
