Good to see your still around, I hav...Mr. Simmonds<br /><br />Good to see your still around, I haven't heard from you in awhile.<br /><br />The result of the First World War was truly terrible, but I think I should point out that no one could have foreseen those results and even if they could have foreseen it, that doesn't mean they could change anything. The millions of men and women swept aside for the ambitions of glory seeking kings, presidents and CEOs. The resultant rise in fascism, faux democracy and communism leading to the marginalisation of the family and the promotion of greed and tyranny. I remember the fallen but I also have a twinge of sadness that we still haven't learnt from our mistakes. Politicians still seem to be eager to send their young men to their deaths for a few shekels more in far off lands which have no bearing on our own.
